Frank J. Broussard was born in Houma, Louisiana, and has lived in many places such as Erath, Louisiana and The Woodlands, Texas. He graduated with a degree in Environmental Science from Texas State University and now resides in Austin, Texas. 

Despite living in Austin, he has never missed a Louisiana duck season.
